CNN Files Complaint on Oath Do-Over because...
...there weren't video cameras inside. There was audio, photos and a press pool. But the cable chuckleheads are upset. :wtf:

15. And the next day, and the next, and the next...
Every day they'll find a new reason for him to have to do it again. It's a right-wing plan to keep him busy his entire term repeatedly retaking the oath so he doesn't have time to do anything else!

2. If a tree fell in the forest and CNN was not around, would it really have fallen?
CNN does not believe so.

there's any real NEWS in the world for them to cover.

4. Uh, I'm sorry; complaint about what?
Does CNN claim to have some vested constitutional right to have a camera anywhere, anytime they want?

5. Hey, I got an idea ...

Let's just make him take the fucking oath every damn day from here on out for the next 8 years.

After all, he can't *possibly* have anything actually important to do.

Freakin' talking heads entertainment media idiots ... lord.

7. Aw, geez. What, exactly, is the basis for the complaint? I'd love to read it.
With what court or agency was it filed and what particular legal right are they claiming was denied to them? This sounds incredibly frivolous. I mean, granted, the news out of the White House isn't going to be the 24/7 train wreck that the media have become used to gorging themselves on, over the last eight years, but, c'mon. Does CNN think it has to BE the news, now, in the quest for ratings?

8. Of course because section I, article IV of the Constitution says....
"there must be no less than four video cameras present covering the President while the oath is administered."

We have to honor the wishes of our founding fathers.

11. Everybody knows that those nerdy founding fathers were just crazy about video.
You can see a camcorder in the background of damn near every single photograph of Washington, Jefferson, and Franklin!

29. CNN dug its own grave
when it lurched to the right in attempt to regain the audience it lost to Pox (deliberate typo). What they accomplished was alienating the middle that had been their core audience. They can stew in their own juices.

Well that honeymoon was short. I wonder if the repubs complaining about Obama worship are going to note this......ha.

26. shuddup, shuddup, shuddup! for REAL? They're saying "Despite all the promises of transparency"?
Good grief talk about showing their true colors about how they feel about Obama - yelling about them not being transparent just because CNN wasn't invited to broadcast the 2nd oath is disugusting of them... won't be watching them unless I have to, I pretty much watch MSNBC but sometimes was watching CNN, I'll cut that back even more now. Hope MSNBC doesn't whine about it.

13. Are video cameras written in to the constitution now?
If not, then they need to just STFU - the fact that he had to redo it at all is idiotic.

14. Well, I think filing a formal complaint is over the top, too, but I would LOVE
to see the video of this, myself, so I can't blame them for wanting to see it and broadcast it. I'd have loved to have seen it... but a formal complaint does seem a little petulant.

19. CNN needs to read the 20th Amendment...
He became President at noon yesterday regardless of the oath. The 20th Amendment clearly says that the current President's term ends at that time and his successor's term begins at that time.

in the room when Obama uses the restroom. Fuck them. I remember Obama called out one GOP staffer for following him to the restroom with a camera. These folks are deranged.

23. I honestly don't even know why President Obama would want to lead a nation full of folks that are
this fucked in the skull. We got some real asswipes among us. He is a very good man, to say the least. He actually wants to improve their lives, and they are taking every opportunity they can to dump on him. Fuck em.

30. well, it takes balls of steel to ask tough obsequious questions
when there is nothing at stake. asking questions of bush.... that would have been easy. hey, how about that torture. isn't that illegal? hey, why are you lying about Iraq's involvement in 911. those are easy questions they could have asked. but they waited to ask the HARD questions. that's why cnn is 'the most trusted name in news'.

28. "They promised us transparency.....but really how different are they?"
Give me a fucking break...after all the executive orders that came down yesterday, they have the gall to ask that question? It's not like he took the oath in secret, they just didn't want that oath to become the "official" historical oath by video taping it. When the media wants to include video of the President Obama taking the oath of office, they will still have to use the one on the Capitol steps.
