"Chief Justice Roberts Could Have Done Worse"

Many people are saying it would have been a good idea for Roberts to have practiced administering the oath before he showed up for the ceremony. It turns out he did practice. This blog has obtained an exclusive transcript of one of his practice sessions. As you will see, it did not go well. Yesterday's flub could have been much worse.

ROBERTS: I do solemnly swear, that I do solemnly swear�.Wait.

I solemnly do swear solemnly�.Hold on.

I do solemnly swear, that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, slolamly�.Dammit!
