"Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency,"
Isn't that a wonderful change from the last 8 years?

3. Reagan's administration was corrupt as shit...
Remember Iran Contra? Remember the funding of Bin Laden, which helped lead to the creation of Al Qaeda? And of course the usual corrupt BS among White House staffers, which as of today has been ABOLISHED by President Obama's executive orders on ethics and transparency in the White House.

5. I think it's very cool that he's walking the damn walk...
You know, no offense to Clinton. He promised "change" and the same lobbyist BS continued in the White House and Washington as a whole. Obama has come in and right away he is laying down the damn law for his staffers. Corruption and lobbyist activity won't be tolerated. I hope he applies this same idea to the Congress. He does not have the same kind of control over them that he does the White House staff, but he can draft legislation to get the crooks in Congress to start behaving in an honorable fashion. It will be met with resistance. They are currently benefiting from their corruption (while we the people keep getting screwed) so they will not give that up without a fight. I hope he can pull it off. It would be a huge victory for honesty in our government if he can.
