meaning, do you feel that this whole CBS memo situation has blurried the facts that by all the official (undisputed) military records, Bush lied on his national guard forms that he was never arrested, that he took off from the TANG and went to Alabama without approval from his supervisors, then gets permission to go to the Alabama National Guard and then never shows. And now the new military records that have come out and analyzed by the Boston Globe show that Bush was suppose to show up in the Mass. National Guard and again never showed up for duty......this is serious stuff and a violation of the law.
But anyone think all of the FACTS are lost with the CBS memo controversy dominating this story?
I feel that it has. The talk on TV is no longer what Bush did and did not do and how he broke the law and did not fulfull his requirements, but instead it is about how CBS is better come clean soon and that the memos are definitely forged (i dont personally think they are forgeries). It's too bad because what Bush did in the 1970s should be a real turn off to every voter!
