I gave everyone at work the morning off tomorrow
and told them they could come in anytime after 2 PM or not come at all if they like. Everyone just starred at me in disbelief and finally one of the girls said "who is going to get the phone or wait on customers" and I replied "there won't be any phone call tomorrow or any customer that will be more important than what is happening in Washington D.C. tomorrow and I want you all to witness it as it is happening". The rest of the day was like a big party.

In fact, we have every inauguration day off. A perk of working in DC for a non-profit I guess. The bosses don't want to mess with trying to get into DC either, although it usually isn't this bad. Our building is on a special lockdown tomorrow with sharpshooters on the roof, and we are several blocks away from the festivities.

11. you're a good boss. I'm skipping the first day of classes.
I don't want to, but I'm not missing Obama take the oath.
Also, I REALLY want to see Obama walk bush to the helicopter.
That is what I want to see the most.
