Obama speaking now on MSNBC
Edited on Mon Jan-19-09 12:47 PM by sparosnare
With Michelle, making a brief statement to the volunteers assembled for today's Renew America Together event. Said he won't be long because he has to "save all of his best lines for tomorrow". (Laughter)

Talking of personal responsibility and promoting www.usaservice.org

Now walking around shaking volunteers' hands; said he will shake everyone's hand so please be patient.

I love our new President. :bounce: :loveya: :patriot:

3. Yes, I can't stop...
though I have to go to the food bank soon. Both he and Michelle are so gracious and down-to-earth. They seem to enjoy meeting the people and mingling.

5. I can't stop watching either. They are real people; this is not a staged photo op.
They will continue to be involved and I fully expect them to be out in the DC community from time to time. :hi:

9. Joe likes to feed people, lol.
Remember he brought bagels and coffee to the press gathered outside of his home when he was selected VP? So cool.
