It's weird but I feel CLEAN
Edited on Sun Jan-18-09 05:01 PM by cheryl27
the concert was "cleansing"; a rebirth, if you will.

A day of hope and joy....to be able to stand with pride when the
songs of our nation were sung.

I was in DC in 01 and 05 to protest...to stand up against
the tyranny. I felt proud of myself for standing up but
it didn't release any frustration or anger that I felt for
what was being done to our country.

After today it is all gone and I feel clean once again.

4. I can't wait to go to work on Tuesday.
I teach, and it's the first day of the semester. I will greet my new (and some repeat) students with ZEAL!

5. I feel the same way. I was at the March on Washington in '63, my daughter
was at the mall for this today. I was unexpectedly overwhelmed with emotion watching that concert online. It really is as if something is being cleansed. Not finished, but started. Or started anew.
