This whole thing has the feeling of a national (and I hate this word) REBIRTH. I am almost 60 years old and I have NEVER, never seen anything like this in my life. It's almost frightening. So much hope, so much feeling.

Obama is now, before his inauguration, being gifted with the popularity and the love that people felt for the Kennedy Brothers at the time of their deaths. I don't say that lightly. Not at all. But I do think it's true.

I think people feel that Obama is here to take up the call "Ask not what your country can do for you..."
