George W Bush. The best President ever?
As a result of his openness, which was more by accident than design, he can in many ways be considered to have been a great President. His openness was his incompetence.

He exposed corporate ties. No other President can run wars on behalf of corporations. What other Country will now follow the US into a War without real evidence that they obtain themselves?

He broke lassiez faire politics. No future President can ever ignore security service warnings (9/11), weather warnings (Katrina), economic warnings (the bail out). His disastrous management of every aspect of his Government means that the public now demands better from the State.

His incompetence has exposed that one man does not and can not run the lives of everyone in the US and the West. You run your own life and the Government, which operates on many more layers than just the Presidency can either assist you or get in your way.

By being so bad, Bush enabled everyone to understand what they should expect from the Government.

I do believe that we learn from evil people as well as good people. Evil people help to bring the evil in our own hearts out in the open, laid bare, so hopefully, we see it for what it is and learn from it.

4. I hate learning this way...
but if truth be told, under Bush, I've learned more about my country and its citizens than I had in the 37 years prior. Oh gawd it hurts to learn this way, but oftentimes, and for many of us, it is the quickest and only way.

8. Had it not been for him
we would have not been exposed to the Haliburton Presidency.

Bush also ensured people started to understand climate change, as we all knew his Government was not going to.

7. Maybe not the best, but the most effective in mission accomplished, to wit a: wrecked
treasury, economy, environment, jobs market, stock markets, capital markets, international order, law, and goodwill, liberty and freedom, the land of the free and home of the brave, the rule of law and the Bill of Rights except for sacrosanct 2nd Amendment, separation of powers, three separate but equal main branches of government, separation of church and state, Iraq. Hell of a good job junior. :P
