Here are some of the good points:
- Obama has been a citizen since from birth. No one has proved anything to the contrary - no one.
- Not one secretary of state of the 50 states questioned Obama’s eligibility to be on the ballot - not one.
- Not one court cases against Obama has been given status for hearing in any court. The have all been denied standing at every level - every one of them.
- Every pledged elector voted for Obama and all thought the citizenship issue was silly - all of them.
- Not one objection was raised during the joint session of Congress when the electoral college votes were tallied on January 8 past - not one.
lot of you are going around asserting that “natural born citizen” is defined as someone born in the US to two US citizen. That’s a legal argument that hasn’t been supported by the courts and in fact is a minority opinion that isn’t shared by the majority of legal scholars.
But because you’ll run around reading the same blogs with the same worldview you think this is some hard and fast rule. It’s not. And if you doubt that this is a fringe opinion, consider that one of the leading proponents of this interpretation is Philip Berg, who also happens to believe that the World Trade Center was brought down by the Bush administration and has called for the disbarment of various SC justices (including Clarence Thomas) because they don’t buy his 9/11 theories. One of the other major proponents, Leo Donofrio, isn’t a practicing attorney anymore, works as a professional poker player. And he believes the McCain is also not eligible to be President.
In the meantime, there are tons of conservative legal scholars that dislike Obama and the Dems and would be jumping on this if there was anything real behind it. Why aren’t they? Because they know it’s a fringe theory with nothing behind it.
