1. LOL, the problem is that he wouldn't.
He'd just keep making it bigger.

24. It was scary in 2000
But what's scarier is, I think medical technology has been advanced far enough to keep people just alive enough to vote. So we'll be dealing with Zell Millers in the electorate for at least another thirty years, though the natural progression of history requires that these people F*CKING DIE.

3. If that happens,4 years from now
we'll just have a bigger mess, and be that much closer to species extinction.

I remember that argument being used about letting Tricky Dick win in '68. "If people find out how bad he is, there won't be another repug elected in this century."
Bullshit.

4. Frighteningly, this is just the sentiment of some voters I read today
They think only Bush can clean up his self made mess because they don't trust Kerry.
It's like some Gordian knot only Bush can undo.

6. I remember when Bush was selected 4 years ago
and I said people will see what a mistake...yes, we did and DO see those who voted for him made a mistake, but 9/11 gave him "freebie" otherwise, his ass would have been gone a long time ago.

5. I've given some thought to concentrating on winning control of
the House & Senate. Not stop fighting for Kerry, but maybe be more important to win both houses of Congress. Then, even if Shrub stayed in office, he couldn't do too much, and there WOULD be investigations!!!

impeachment rings a bell. If Bush gets a second term, all this shit will come out... and there is a satisfaction of knowing he may be impeached when it does...

13. Impeachment? With a GOP Congress! Keep dreaming.
Unless the vote splits in such a way that Democrats take back both the House and the Senate, there is no way in hell that Bush could be impeached.

15. unfortunately
you're right. As long as the GOP dominate the house and senate, that's why we need to get more Democrats in those seats:)

21. And as long as the "Democrats" are DLC pussies who vote along with bills..
...that blame Iraq for 9-11, they wouldn't impeach the son of a bitch either.

But it's still a stupid joke. You know, when in a hole-stop digging. We shouldn't allow Bush to dig no more.

is the reason I can't get behind this idea...Bush has created such a mess and $422 billion dollars deficit is a joke...Just like his pappy, he's cooking the books. When a Democrat follows Bush, they are going to get the blame.

Democrats will fix the problems, like Clinton did, and then the next Republican administration will again raid the US Treasury and give the surplus to the corporations in the form of "tax cuts"

Got to get it through to fence-sitting moderates, (undecided) NEVER to vote for a Republican again...it's ALL about ideology. And Republican's ideology is ALWAYS for corporate give-aways. tax cuts, subsidies, (corporate welfare) incentives, no responsibilities for pollution, exploitation and imperialism. (stealing other nations assets and resources).

They are never for the working poor and middle-class who foot the bill, it's NOT the Republicans ideology. (Although they will lie and say things like they are "Compassionate Conservatives", but it's horseshit, the proof is always...actions speak louder than words).

26. you are missing Bill's point....
he just meant that Chimpy has NEVER had to pay for any mistakes he has made in the past because someone always bailed him out and he should be held responsible for the mess he has created in Iraq and that he should be forced (by the American public) to clean it up. (Not that he would) He was being sarcastic. He really doesn't WANT Chimpy to win because of THAT and he certainly doesn't believe Chimpy will clean up the Iraq mess anytime soon.
