Kaine to Dean: Fantastic job, thanks for your 50 state strategy
Kaine (and Obama) hit the perfect tone today. Good on Kaine for his recognition of Dean's efforts and successes.

Kaine will do well as DNC chair.

which brings to mind. who will the RNC chair be? Mickey Mouse? Donald Duck? Rush Limbaugh?

1. I'm hoping Kaine will do well in his new post. I'm glad Dean was
recognized for all he did in that position.

6. Steele has some appeal
I can see how people might vote for that guy, and given that the GOP should be wanting to reach out to minorities he wouldn't be a bad choice, at least when you consider how terrible all the other options are. Blackwell would be a disaster. I think the GOP's big problem is none of them actually know why they lost the last two elections, they don't seem to get it. Overall, it probably doesn't matter who gets picked because they are in a tough spot either way. I would think some of these guys could make the situation quite a bit worse for them, while maybe somebody like Steele, who isn't a total incompetent, can be somewhat effective.
