Rise and fall of Bush's popularity

Every US president's popularity among the American public is measured by approval ratings; opinion polls conducted weekly or monthly by a host of polling companies.

See below how George W Bush has fared in the eight years since he was first sworn in as president, in relation to key events that occurred during his presidency.

Although his popularity reached about 90% during 2001, his rating at the end of 2008 makes him one of the most unpopular presidents since polling began in the late 1930s.

1. ONLY because we didn't know yet of the 7-minutes-sitting-still bit, and didn't
think through his being NOWHERE until 9/12 (or was it 9/13?).
Or that....don't get me started.

2. I hated him then and just about everyone I knew hated him then, too.
Those polls about him being popular were so fake.

3. It wasn't POPULARITY...it was FEAR...the Masses rallied around the Flag/President
Then...when the smoke cleared and the true picture emerged...that the attack was warned a month prior to 9/11...Bush began his slide to now...6 years later...when his approval rating sucks like shit.....

He is an Utter Ass, an Utter Failure, and a Miserable DISGRACE......

7. Proud 10 percenter here!!!!
I was perplexed that formally sane folks were getting behind Numbnuts McEvil but not as stunned at the number of folks that bought the Iraq fiasco. If its to dumb and nutty for Jim Baker and his ilk then it is too stupid and batshit for me by a huge margin.
