And Cheney has his regular look, like he's spotted a target and he's got a nefarious plan to take it out.

8. I'm sorry SKP but ....
... I dont allow swearing in my threads. You're gonna have to change that to "gosh darn" or "gaaaaaaleee!" (Gomer Pyle style) :)

And that IS a cool watch .... I have this vivid memory of Clinton signing his first bill into law minutes after being sworn in 1993. Out from his sleeve popped this rubber watch. I thought it was odd that the President would be wearing a rubber watch.

A leather band is a good compromise between "too blingy" and "too sporty." lol

14. !
Funny you should call me SKP.... I'll tell ya why.

I lived in NYC for years, downtown East Village, Washington Square, that's the NYC part.

Then I returned to California, left the city.

The SKP come directly from something Barney Fife said in an episode of Andy Griffith.

What did Barney say? Andy, we got us an ____!!!!

13. I don't know if this is the same one...
President Elect Barak Obama is the epitome of cool–at least as far as presidents go–so it’s not surprising that there has been much speculation about his couture. Front and center in that speculation has been “What the heck is that cool black chrono he’s wearing?” Tag Carrera? Panerai? Could it be that this POTUS with the populist bent has a watch that costs $12,000???
No.

It turns out that true to his democratic roots the president’s watch is a gift from his secret service detail. An inexpensive, but nice looking watch from the secret service store branded with the secret service logo.
The watch is the Jorg Gray JGC 6500 and is available from logomark but yours will not have the cool secret service logo on it.

He owns a Tag Heuer and the SS gave him one from their employee store that was from this company: :

The article, with great pics, is here:

17. The little girls in the black and red dresses are very cute
The poor kids there at the capital today...its tough to stay still that long and be on your best behavior. I see lots of kids with electronic toys, gotta have something to keep them occupied.
