Yep, that's what I noticed.

After all the hub up over Barack and his Blackberry, I got it in my head that the President had NO access to a cell phone at all which I thought was odd. Upon reading the article that goes with that video (originally discussed here... http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x8053840 ) turns out that's a phone that stays with the car and the Pres. has use of many cell phones at his disposal. Of course I think the bigger problem with the Blackberry is not so much the phone part but the email/text part.

While the president can't have his own cell phone for security reasons, it seems there are several for his use, including one in the presidential limo, accodring to this very informative National Geographics story:

Bush hasn't carried a personal cell phone for security reasons, but he had access to any number of them while traveling.

One cell is specifically for the presidential limousine, where there is never a problem with background noise. People who have been inside say that the limo is eerily serene, as if the outside world were on mute. The President can see the crowd, but he can't hear it, especially not over the deep rumble of the Beast's big V-8.
