Are certain warmongers from both sides taking advantage of the last days of Bush's regime?

I'm not singling out any specific country, just wondering about the warmongering factions from either side in some current "disputes" going on now across the world and why they're going all out with their war games right now.

I'm wondering if they're being so aggressive right now because they are worried that they won't get away with all their warmongering bullshit in another few weeks when Bush the warlord is gone and Obama the peacemaker takes over. Would all this ugly aggression have started up over there if Obama was in power? I would like to think not. Any thoughts?

1. I think you are probably right.

The tendency for American politicians is not to change course during a crisis, especially if you are new to the scene. If they want more of the same, this is a good way to get it.

It doesn't give Obama any time to establish a change in course. At least not right away.
