I had to listen to whining about how Obama was going to destroy the country by growing government,(never mind that Bush and company grew the government almost 15% above even the needs of the military) passing health care laws that would bankrupt us, and how he and his "followers" are the reason we are in the economic mess we are.

Let me repeat that.. the man has not been sworn in yet, but he and his followers, (don't you just love that :mad:) are the reason the economy is tanking right now?

You cannot reason with that kind of self righteous egotistical bombastic behavior . But oh how I wanted to lay into them, but once I would have started, I would not have been able to quit.

It's time to wish the new guy well. With all the problems we are facing it seems to me that wishing Obama well is a lot better than expecting him to fail.

When Bush became president in 2000 I was not a happy camper, but I didn't want him to fail as a president. Why wish that on our country. We ended up with failure but I sure didn't wish for it. I want whoever is sitting in the Oval Office to be successful.

It's in the best interests of even folks like these for Obama to be successful.

Their party essentially neglected to prevent 9/11 even though they had all the tools available to do so, strong-armed us into a completely unnecessary war which has slaughtered and displaced millions of innocent people, then they wiped their collective asses with The Constitution, implemented torture, spied on US citizens and then they topped it off with bankrupting this country through the next fucking Century, and they're worried about Obama "expanding" government? Motherfucking assholes! My grandchildren will be paying for their fucking mess. Don't pay them any attention until they are willing to get the help they need for their personality disorders. Fuck Bush, his cabal, and all the dumber than shit asshat Americans who supported them, but by god, don't ever let them fuck us again.

16. I am out here in Nebraska, surrounded by R's...

and virtually every one of them wants bush out. Generally, they don't like or trust Obama, but these people are not deluded into thinking the current mess we are in, is anything but of policies pushed by an idiot that has noting to do with their values.

Sure, there are the die hards, but there are so few of them, they make little difference in much these days. I've watched them cuss out Limbaugh and Beck, knowing that what they say are lies and obfuscations, (but they still listen).

Point is, although some who have access to media push bush's "legacy refinement", almost everyone knows bush will be go down in history as the worst president ever. Those at my work know this, and even though they are predominantly R's, they will be ecstatic to see this idiot leaving...and going as far away as possible, silently, into the night.
