13. It's just so hard to fight racial prejudice. It was such a setback.

It's like having to work so hard, so long, so strongly, and then one piece of junk and the work has to start all over again. I'm so hurt, angry, mad, disheartened. It's unfair.

But then, Rush lives on unfairness.

The lack of a fairness doctrine to protect US from the now limited number of stations available for the other points of view, such as being against a war, for more time to search for WMDs, revelatory of egregious lying US into a war. A rule that says that radio station my great elderly friends listen to 24/365/year must show that other side so they won't think the station they admire agrees with all Rush speaks and give it that unimpeachable credibility.
