It's bad enough I have to read DUers defending this tripe. Does he not watch Rachel Maddow? She's pretty much been disproving the whole "kinder gentler religious whacko" trope every night for the last week.
Not that you care, but if you'd been watching her you'd have seen her play multiple clips that basically shred Warren's credibility.
I know she caught a lot of shit around here for not being OMG OMG OMG WE'RE GONNA WIN 24/7, but she's still probably the smartest person on television. :/
I caucused for Obama. But we all have a line in the sand. I'm a woman, my brother rest his soul was tv and I have gay cousins. My line in the sand has been more than crossed.
I don't know. Melissa seemed to be saying that the Rick Warren she met and spoke to was somehow different than the way he's portrayed in the corporate media, and that he's not a bad guy.
If he has all her albums, I guess he never paid any attention to the lyrics.
17. He told her he had her albums over the telephone
And she took his word for it, apparently. How could she verify it, to see if he was telling the truth? Furthermore, why would she doubt what he was saying was true? It was what she wanted to hear.
