But now that Warren has been invited its pretty hard to take it back.

I know...I'll probably take heat for saying it - but the religious stuff has NO PLACE in government. Period. Including in the presidential inauguration.

6. What did Carter ever do for gay marriage when he was president?

C'mon, get real.

Carter was president and did not lift a finger to advance gay marriage, relevant military policy, etc.

Having Carter there would send the message "this administration isn't going to do those things either."
