If Bush Is A Cowboy Then Kerry Is An Untouchable!
Edited on Sun Sep-12-04 07:50 PM by cryingshame
Modo's column in NYTimes today mentioned Bush & GOP as cowboy. How tough they come across.

Of course she smears Kerry as an effete, eastern liberal. As if the only tough image comes from Westerns.

So the image of Kerry should now become an Untouchable. A Crimefighter. He was, after all, a tough and successful Prosecutor.

And as a Senator he worked on investigating Organized Crime (BCCI).

Frankly, my advice to the Kerry campaign would be to project Kerry's image as an Untouchable. Tough as nails agent who tracks down mobsters.

That is what the Bush family is. And Kerry is the perfect guy to play Eliot Ness.

Expose the corruption... or at least hint at this theme. Halliburton/Cheney... Bush/Enron.

This also plays along nicely with Kerry as a Whistleblower in the 70's. Which is what his Senate testimony was all about. :)

3. I like your idea but afraid the name "untouchable" will convey
another meaning, as in the India lowest caste. Lots of people weren't around for The Untouchables.

How about The Prosecutor or The DA? or something else?

4. Actually, Your Point Is Well Taken. The "Prosecutor" Might Work
wasn't Eliot Ness a Treasury Agent? :)
