*** Watch as MN Electoral Board decides ballot by ballot --- Live****
Edited on Wed Dec-17-08 04:11 PM by grantcart
Pretty interesting. You get to see the ballot they are looking at and then they vote on it.

They are now working on Franken challenges. It looks like that when they get to Coleman challenges Franken will get the lead.

1. This is actually facinating as hell

You get to see each ballot. So far I can't disagree with a single decision.

3. Its quite entertaining

It is all being done by unanimous vote. No hint of partisanship whatsoever.

All of the frivilous challenges will be quickly thrown out.

Franken has gotten votes that I thought were very borderline - so he cannot be disappointed.

Coleman challenges so far appear to be largely without any substance.

The interesting ones are the ones that have double circles filled in and then have an 'X' on it.

They are showing a lot of common sense.

4. Ah, that's great!
I'm trying to distract myself but it's hard not to fret about this all the time! Here's hoping Franken gets a definitive lead so Coleman can't mess it up with his legal workings...

5. I can't wait until we see the Franken ballot that is challenged by Coleman
Where the voter wrote in "LIZZARD PEOPLE" in every available spot.

Tomorrow.

Can't wait for the board's reaction.

:D

7. They formally thanked the Franken campaign for significantly reducing their challenges
and looked forward to the Coleman campaign doing the same.
