Opening line on Hartmann's (NovaM) 1:30 news break: "Obama and Blagojevich"
Is anyone in Big Media ashamed of the fact that they just use what the RNC faxes them verbatim? When is one of them going to get an epiphany and tell the whole story?

1. The news breaks on the hour and (I believe) on the half hour
Edited on Thu Dec-11-08 01:59 PM by lapfog_1
are provided by a service (ABC news?).

NovaM and Hartmann probably have little, if any, input on this.

Perhaps NovaM could quit paying for the news recap and do their own (I'll move to Phoenix, write the copy... but I need an on air voice though... any volunteers?).

5. Me! Me! Me!
I've done voiceover work before. I've got this awesome raspy Kathleen Turner sound (minus the weird affected German accent she had a few years ago).

2. It's "AP radio news" and yes, they are blatantly right wing shills
I don't know why Nova M or AAR still use their shitty news service.

You could always try listening to The Mic 92.1 stream out of Wisconsin

http://2005.themic921.com/cc-common/streaming_new/index.html

They use CNN radio news, which seems slightly less right wing than AP, or even their own TV division.

Only problem with them is that they don't carry Thom Hartmann live, they have Ed Schultz instead, and Thom is tape delayed afterwards.

They do carry Mike Malloy in real time though, which is good since the Nova M stream seems to crash a lot in the evenings.

4. RW/GOP Media - If They Talk About The Issues, The GOP Will Lose
Just because the election is over, why should we expect the GOP to change?
