I'm confused-Just what is the media accusing President-Elect Obama of doing wrong re: Blagovich?
See the question above. Also, Fitzgerald said on Tuesday that there were no accusations regarding the PEOTUS whatsover. What is all this shit? Is it that the media thinks that Obama shouldn't have had any contact with the Il governor at all? Or what. I don't get it and I am angry at them. Just what are the questions that they want answered?

Help me out. Thanks.

Edited on Thu Dec-11-08 10:44 AM by ErinBerin84
And now David Gregory and Mark Whitaker are on MSNBC talking about how this brings back questions about "Tony Rezko"....righhhhhht.

edit: oh yeah, and being from Chicago. They are accusing him of that.

4. What was the problem with Obama in regards to Wright or Ayers? Guilt by association.
Even when the governor is on tape calling Obama a motherfucker for not offering him anything for the seat, the fact that he is the governor of Illinois and Obama is from Illinois seems to be a close enough link to lay guilt on Obama.

5. Is it ALL of the M$M or just FUX?
I don't watch much TV news. I get most of my news from NPR or the internet. I do hear some FUX news and they are theonly ones I hear doing this. Just curious.

6. I've seen it on MSNBC and CNN
I think it's their frustration that a few days have done by without a news conference, and they feel as if the Obama team is not indulging in their bullshit sufficiently. I could see if it was a week or something, but god.

7. No, its all of them. They are just trying to drag out the election.
They are trying to lie. They are trying to errode some of those approval numbers so they can go to town on him when he's sworn in... The problem they don't understand is that they are irrelevent. Everyone is losing their job. No new one's to be had. People are in survival mode.. and they are going to give Obama a chance. The newsies need to understand.. the old rules don't apply anymore. they need to be questioning and investigating everything without their smear bias. Gregory is irrelevant.. I expect his numbers to tank on MTP.

8. The problem is that Obama's lack of drama hurts their ratings
So they have to make crap up in order to make things interesting. The way I see it, once it was discovered that Blago called Obama names because Obama refused to give Blago what he wanted, the question over Obama's involvement was closed for good.

9. IMO it's just obfuscation & guilt by association
Similar to tying the actions of Bill Ayers's of the sixties to Obama because they once sat on a board dealing with education issues fourty years later.

Anything to attempt to diminish Obama's political capital. I believe that this is why since the Blag scandal erupted all of a sudden the republicans are going to challenge some of Obama's cabinet picks. Pukes now think that they have the political cover to challenge Obama with impunity, that they can diminish his agenda and put him on his heels. I think that they are in for a surprise.

13. what the fuck
Edited on Thu Dec-11-08 11:36 AM by ErinBerin84
Obama said that he is positive that there were no arrangements or talks of deals, but he said that he would share any talks with the public in the couple of days....but Mark Whitaker says that he still said they are "gathering facts", so this means he must not know! And that the story is not going away! These people are ridiculous. And now someone is saying "Where did the gov get the idea that he would get a cabinet position? We need to know that!" Who the fuck knows, this guy thought he would run for president in 2016, I don't think he was playing with a full deck.

17. Looking for ratings and don't care what they do or say
As always there has to some kind of drama to bring viewers who have the attention span of a knat. Palin is back with the moose, the election is over, so they need the next big story no matter who it hurts. The comments today on MSNBC (I imagine Faux and CNN were worse) were disgusting. Fitz said Obama not involved, Blag called Obama a M-F on tape so we know Obama never went along with him in anything, and Obama says he never talked to Blag. So what were the comments of that idiot Contessa Brewer and the rest of them- What is Obama hiding??? All negative. They had to raise him up so they can tear him down.

or an Obama press conference. But it's obvious to me that the same old conservative bias is showing again. ALL the networks were like a tomb when Obama won - not just FAUX.

19. Funny, MSM would have had great ratings in the last three years....
had there been ANY investigation into Bushco. No, their rating attempts are very selective and quite partisan.

Jonathan Alter went so far earlier today as to say that, Obama needs to take responsibility for the fact that Blago was even in office. That Obama and other Dems didn't work harder to help another Dem defeat Blago two years ago.

Wow, they say the left looks at Obama as the Messiah. Seems the media and the repugs want him to take responsibility for EVERYTHING, as though he is the Messiah and can shoulder and thus eradicate the sins of others.

Oy.

25. Politico had a list of questions on their website
None of the questions implied wrongdoing on the part of the President-Elect or his team but seemed to go to background on what was known and when.

They have updated the question list with the answers from today's press conference.
