Sensational Works! Cheney's SLAM is still getting coverage: Kerry Weak
on terror.

Unless the Dems can come up with some sensational stories
to hold media attention not much is going to get through to
voters till the debates.

1. Come up with stories?
Scarborough dead pregnant intern in the office couldn't compete with Condit's missing intern - ya think it's not the story but who decides what's covered mebbe?

6. Don't expect others to spread around what we need.
Hit the mixed message boards.

The whole of Bush's record is a big slam against him.

I'd say half of the written news that few Americans see works for our side.

We just need to find it and pass it around in the mixed boards.

Alternatively just getting out and telling people that killing babies in Iraq is wrong is a big strike against Bush.

We can either get out there and spread the message and support our ideas and our side, or we can lose.

The right wingers know this, why don't we?

2. Lies, Theft, Debt, Terrorism, Buy-outs, and Death
A malicious and anti-american agenda led to lies to the American people and the world which has caused death, suffocating fear that has resulted in unwarranted and misused trust, which has caused untold debt, a rise in terrorism, traitorous buy-outs of support to form coalitions, and loss of lives, limbs, minds, immune systems, faith, hope, and treaties, plus the loss of truthful news which has come to untold destruction and the anti-thesis of human civility in the form of torture.

But few have the guts to bring a dire message to the people.

4. Republicans Fighting Dirty
The DNC, Kerry, Dean, everyone knew going into this election that the Republicans fight dirty. So why weren't they prepared. It sometime seems that those of us watching all this from the sidelines have a better handle on things than the candidates. I'm not saying the Dems aren't working hard, but it seems like they are their own worst enemy.

Someone needs to tell John Kerry to fire most of his advisors and get up tomorrow morning and go with his gut instincts, whether that's blasting the hell out of the Republicans for smearing him or picking an issue and sticking to it until he makes his point.

will change the dynamics at this point.

8. We are the media with our PCs and printers
I work for print media so I cannot distribute these myself.

WE THE PEOPLE can create an issue that brings the media to us using viral and guerilla marketing techniques. Guerilla marketing means we disseminate our message using non-traditional delivery systems. Viral marketing means that the message creates buzz and it propagates exponentially. The computer ushered in the age of print and web based media accessibility to the masses. We are paying a lot of attention to online media and ignoring the most far reaching: PRINT MEDIA.
An example of an effective 8 x 10 print piece highlighting Bush's failure and most importantly MOCKING him in the process:

Go here:
http://somnamblst.tripod.com/index.html
to download the 300 DPI TIF file for printing and distributing.

21. More on Print Media...
I've been designing ads and fact sheets, trying hard to point out both the hypocrisy and danger of this administration as well as the great difficulty in getting the word out through a very Right-biased media (newspapers, but especially cable news and talk radio). I have a full-time job already and don't have nearly the time I'd like to do more. If anyone is interested, please visit my site at http://www.bigpath.net.
There are a couple new ones there directly relating to Cheney's insane statement about terrorist attacks if we elect Kerry. There's also one about Bush titled AWOL that's been showing up in some BLOGs and forums.

I'd really love to get more people to use these. On the site, I strongly encourage people to download, print, handout, forward, whatever just to help get out some alternative views in print.

Anyway, if you check them out and see something that you think is relevant, please pass it on and also let me know so I can make more or less or alter the message or whatever.

17. Kerry IS Fighting Back -- But You Won't See That On the "News"
They'll chortle about how Kerry isn't getting his message out,
even as they talk over him rather than letting people hear him speak.

The media is strangling the Kerry campaign.

22. Can't Watch the News Anymore
I actually hurts to see this willful misuse of the public airwaves by a biased and spiteful press too eager to pass on conservative dribble and constantly demeaning Kerry and the Democrats in general. For those of you who don't already know about, http://mediamatters.org/ does an exhaustive daily job of pointing out and countering (where possible) conservative media information. The problem is what to do once you have the actual proof of the media bias. My local newspaper won't even print my letters to the editor when they concern conservative media bias (see this link for an example from this week: http://www.bigpath.net/politics/Media/NHRegister/NHRegisterEconomics.html

one other time recently he became livid, but I can't remember the specifics

I think it was about the Swift boat liars, but I'm not sure

he was really PO'd about it

fat Tony was amusing in his lame defense, for which, of course, there is none

9. Cheney's slam was a topic on EVERY Sunday show today!
Powell and Condi have been making the rounds today, and every host asked both of them about Cheney. They all did a really fast tap dance, but none sounded very convincing to me.

11. They don't have to be sensational. They have to challenge Bush.
On his basic premises. Are you safer? Are there more terrorists in the world? Are we on the right track? Was Saddam a threat to us as Bush has said so many times?

All they have to do is open their mouths and challenge this asshole. Is that so difficult? We know what Bush is running on. He has to be challenged on that. We can't talk about other issues of less importance when these are paramount to the election. It is stupid. It's starting to piss me off!

15. No they haven't....
They have wimped out with statements that are too cautious and do not outright challenge Bush. I have not heard Kerry say: "George Bush says we are safer...we are not safer..we are more threatened now because of his actions" ...Is that so controversial or sensational?

Dems say on issues/policies until we get back some interest in
the campaign.

20. The surveys who pit 391 GOP-ers + 270 "Independents" vs 300 Dems?
As long as DNC pundits, strategists are honna buy psy-ops surveys, they'll play for the other team.
