Selling the senate seat? Calling Obama a 'm(****f****r' who just wants to give "appreciation" for picking who Obama hopes he'll pick? Oh-Em-Gee! BiZaRrO wOrLd!

Obviously, this pig should step aside.

Is anyone else in utter shock like me - I couldn't believe the breaking headline title when I saw it - this really happened - is he truly that DUMB to think such a high profile decision wasn't going to be scrutinized heavily, especially after his already questionable ethics being challenged and watched?

wow... and here I thought Senator Craig was going to be the top story today, losing his appeal for his foot tapping!

and on a side note - I wonder how much THIS lady knew of her husband's deal to sell the Senate seat?

2. He will almost certainly
have to resign. I think that he will find that he has zero support.

5. Actually, there are people in the Illinois forum supporting him.
Some people are just used to politics being done this way.

9. I would
suspect that any support on the "Illinois forum" is a part of the "zero." There were some republicans who supported Nixon to the end. But he didn't have the support that mattered. His chances of survival were zero.

In this case, for the governor to survive, he needs the support of those who matter -- and no one of consequence is going to defend him.

I cannot believe in any way this guy can remain as gov of the state after this - he'll be literally hounded 24/7 if he doesn't, and even then for some time if he does!

3. I take it you're not from Illinois.
And that "lady" was involved in her husband's deal to sell the Senate seat. I figure her indictment is coming down the pike, too.
