My Obama cutout was fondled, kissed and groped many times
I have an Obama cutout that I used on many, many occasions during 2007 and 2008 and saw firsthand as so many people would kiss the cutout, and in some instances, actually knock over the cutout as they tried to get in a position for a photograph.

As mentioned in another post, these two women (left from Holland, right from Spain) were so excited to see an Obama cutout that they both were kissing it (him?) before I got a chance to take the photo of that...um... act. There were MANY women, children and a few men who "overly" enjoyed the cutout.

If you look closely, there are some knicks and bumps on the cutout. This is mostly from wildly crazed cutout admiration over almost a year-and-a-half exposure to the public.

For the record, the Obama cutout is now standing in my music studio in a corner nice and safe from groping cutout abusers. It (he?) is very happy.

I hope this helps with the quandary regarding other cutouts and their experiences...

:hi:

I remember a couple instances where a few students were surrounding the cutout and a couple had their faces level with the cutout's belt level. Perhaps with a vivid imagination...

Edited on Mon Dec-08-08 11:46 PM by zulchzulu
As was the case with the Madison WI Dane County Farmers Market in the summer, it's the biggest of its kind in the US. So when over 20,000 people from all over the World all converge, you are bound to see and meet people from everywhere.

Many, many Europeans gravitated to the Obama table to talk, pose (and grope) the Obama cutout and take photos and get some Obama merch to bring back to their country. An Obama button on a French person's backpack would be pretty damn cool...

Even though it was rather fleeting, the dozen or so women who were part of some modeling tour stopped by and took photos and talked in accented English... I was lucky to break away and snap a couple photos...

I have some video of the Obama table where you can hear people giggling and laughing when they are getting their photo taken with the Obama cutout.

My most amazing Obama cutout experience was when I was at the African Music Festival in Madison where I had the cutout and was registering people to vote. It was amazing to see people from Africa standing next to the cutout... they were so proud... it was almost too much.
