This isn't directed just at you, LaydeeBug, but at everyone who keeps posting this nonsense when there are millions of people losing their jobs and millions who are still fighting for their basic civil rights. If the guy wants to smoke, let him smoke so long as he gets the job we hired him to do done.

We need a lot fewer discussions on smoking and hypo-allergenic puppies and more on the economy and human rights. This level of intimacy with Obama's personal life is little more than fandom.

there has been a lot of talk regarding people substituting their personal aspirations for Obama's rhetoric. This is a smaller scale example of that very thing happening. And it will give his children something to look forward to when they come of age. And he probably smells all smokey. And he can probably get a good promotion deal.
