Obama has officially pissed me off.
Edited on Tue Nov-25-08 11:50 PM by Kristi1696
I just heard that he's bringing Sarah Palin to Philly next week for a meeting of the Governor's Association (being hosted by Rendell, almost assuredly at Barack's request).

Why, Barack, why?

Haven't we suffered her enough? She spent two weeks of the general election camped out within our borders and we had shitty weather every day she was here. Every stinking day. She cursed the hockey team. They lost every single game until they pawned the Palin curse off on St. Louis.

83% of us voted for you, Barack. We alone gave you a 160,000 vote margin in PA.

Why do you hate us so?

(P.S. I'm not actually pissed at Obama. Just bummed about the bad weather that is surely coming next Tuesday. Oh well, at least it will probably lead to more entertaining youtube vids of Philadelphians being nasty to Palin)

6. I told my boyfriend about Palin's visit. "So I guess we'll get a hurricane", was his reply.
I wasn't kidding about the bad weather and collective crankiness that her visits bring.

2. LOL
Well, there will be 49 other governors in attendance. Palin will have to do some super fancy pageant walking to stand out. I look forward to her next tone deaf tap dance.

11. I think she'll field dress a moose on the convention center floor.
It seems that whenever she's craving attention, an animal ends up getting slaughtered.

Quit be-ah-chin!

7. OMG, I hope that trollop leaves our President alone.
You know she's going to try to sidle up to him to be photographed. Or she might try to turn on her 'charm' to get the head of the EPA position. BWAHAHAHAHA! I do dislike her, and am sick of seeing/hearing/reading about her, but there's something sickly entertaining about a person who is so utterly clueless.

13. Definately not looking forward to her being all up in my city (and on my President) with disease.
She's yucky! But definitely entertaining, in the utter train wreck sense, of course.

26. She'd break the camera... or someone
would destroy the film.

She's not worthy to be in a room with him, let alone the same photograph. No disrespect to her as a human being (somehow, some way, she does qualify for that, dammit), but to stir the kind of hostility that she has and not back down from it even after Obama won puts her in the sore loser/poor politician/please ride off into the sunset ASAP category.

8. I guess he should have limited the invitation to Governors from the contiguous US and his
birth state.

Do you think Sarah would have figured out what the Obama camp was trying to do?

10. So if Rendell is hosting, he must know who's setting up the PA system, right?
He should pay the sound man a bonus if there's a lot of "technical difficulties" whenever Moosealini attempts to speak.

12. not to worry
Obama has invited all the governors from all 50 states to attend a conference hosted by Rendell to discuss the problems in each state and what each governor can do to help pull their states and the US out of this crisis. It isn't about Palin, it's about this mess we are in and she hopes to meet him and be able to talk to him. He has not invited her "specially" and has not as yet agreed to meet with her.

He's definitely all up in our airspace and shit without her to keep him in check.

31. Unfortunately, the people of Alaska voted her in
Obama had no choice.

Could you imagine the fooferaw if he hadn't invited a Governor to a frickin' Governor's Conference?

Sean Hannity would get a raise from all the "special crisis" episodes he'd host.
