CNN: "The notion that there is only one president at a time"

CNN: "When pressed for details(on the economic bailout plan) Obama falls back on the notion that there is only one president at a time"

The "notion"? It's more than a fucking notion CNN... it's reality!!!

3. Yeah... it's like they think it's Obama`s idea...
... the words are his, but it still does not change the constitutional reality of the situation.

6. If Obama did act like he's president, CNN would excoriate him
for not following the Constitution.

7. And by subtly pushing the meme that it`s Obama`s ``notion`` ...
... they can make it seem like he really could and maybe should be something more `presidential`right now. They`ll try and roast him either way.

10. Is that another direct quote?
I like watching BBC World News, they seem to have a better perspective, and they have to explain what "President Elect" means to Brits and others.

I wish CNN could do that once in a while, lots of dumb Americans out there that think Obama is already Prez.

11. You`d think the US has never had a President-Elect before...
... seriously, it really seems this way judging by the MSM.

13. No. A spoof. I don't watch the cable news networks.
They're a complete wasteland. They won't learn better until they discover that no one is listening to their garbage.

18. Who said it?
I dunno, it was one of the voice-overs during a news clip about Obama's press conference. I heard it just after 1pm PST (4pm EST).

16. I got a deal for CNN. You move the shrub out this afternoon
and we'll take over now and save the digging out from his final slew of signing statements and executive orders.

They'll probably have to rush a Constitutional Amendment through today but that's no big deal is it? I mean they are the best political team, right?

17. "falls back?"
"Falls back" on "the notion?"

What was it that Bush did when "pressed for details" CNN? I don't remember CNN ever pressing Bush for details, nor calling his rantings "notions," and so long as he didn't fall down drunk he got favorable press at all times.
