Do polls account for "we gotta vote this s.o.b. out of office" factor?
I keep reading all this anecdotal evidence that people's friends and relatives who have never voted before/not voted in years are doing to this election season because of their overwhelming HATRED of all things Bush?
Is that reflected in the polls ... the new/renewed voters whose despair is propelling them to the voting booth this year, for the purpose of kicking Bush's ass out into the street?
The age group of 18-30 is an under voting group. So whatever the size is relative to population it gets weighted down because that group historically does not vote.
Pollsters ignore it because traditionally it has little impact on elections.
Anecdotally,we are hearing that this could be the year this changes but it won't be reflected in the polls
