I waited with blood in my eyes for the public STRIPPING of Joe the Traitor of his position and chairmanships but OBAMA didn't let that happen when he ASKED the other dems to leave Joe alone.

I was BETRAYED, DENIED my schweet vengance on that jerk. Obama betrayed ME!!!!

I JUST KNEW that he was going to pick Wes Clark as his SOS because Wes is VETERAN and I am a VETERAN so he deserves it.

Obama BETRAYED ME when he failed to keep his end of the bargain. He didn't do what is BEST FOR THE COUNTRY when he picked THAT WOMAN to be his SOS.


Now I understand OBAMA isn't going to put it to the rich fucks that have tax breaks RIGHT NOW, like HE PROMISED!!!!

They get to KEEP those tax breaks until they RUN OUT of their own accord???

That plus the war in Iraq plus the de-regulation of our banking industry (look up the record of Robert Rubin on this) is what drove this country into the ditch. To buy into the meme that we can't AFFORD to raise taxes on the wealthy right now because it would "hurt the economy" is to buy into the whole "supply side, trickle down" pile of crap called the Friedman or Chicago school of economic theory. A theory which is now totally discredited. Look, I had no illusions that President Elect Obama was going to be a socialist progressive. I knew he was more middle of the road. I even knew he would INCREASE our war in Afghanistan (probably too late now to "win" it, if it could ever have been won... but that's another issue). I just hoped that he would not listen to the Robert Rubins and Larry Summers of the world. They are Democratic versions of Greenspan and Volker and Paulson. They believe in the same basic theories of our economy... such as the theory that "free markets are the best" and "taxes only serve to hinder economic expansion". Ayn Rand crap. Milton Friedman crap.

Well, he hasn't come into office yet. And it wasn't a decision. And even if it was, it can be undone.

We need to raise taxes. If it was up to me, it would be 50% marginal rate on everyone earning more than $150K. And re-institute a 50% tax on estates of over $2M. Because we need the money. We have to bail out the middle class. We need to put people back to work. And we won't be able to borrow the money to do it.
