Bush remains silent today in lieu of his character on the line.
Bush remains hidden up and out of sight, hoping his latest challenge against his questionable character will blow over with Hurricane Ivan. However the press continues to keep the story alive, hanging like an albatross around the Cheney/Bush camp on how they can evade answering the inevitable questions that the public wants to know, "why weren't these records released and why did the Freedom Of Information Act, have to get them released?"

1. Now that the memos have been proved to be true
When will the WH answer the questions they raise.

We need to keep this story building to force their hand.

7. I guess I missed the part where the memos were proven to be true.
Perhaps it happened overnight when I was sleeping. Last I heard, they were still highly suspect.

Doesn't mean that the underlying STORY isn't true, but if these memos are ultimately discredited, the WH won't be forced to answer anything.

If these memos are forgeries and it was a Kerry supporter that created them, then he's an idiot.

If it was a Bush supporter, then he's an evil genius.

This sucks.

2. Hahaha! Poor Chimpster, his past finally caught up to him.
How can we possibly allow a man who was AWOL during war-time to be Commander in Chief?

5. Really, now he has a serious problem. He hardly has the credibility
to call himself a 'war' anything anymore.

Do you think that they kids in Iraq, who are doing their duty, are hearing any of this? And what do you think this does in regard to his plans to bully Iran and Syria? Because not only has any credibility he ever may have had with whoever (I say that because he didn't have any with anyone here) go down the proverbial poop shoot, can you just imagine what the leaders and people in other nations are thinking? I really wonder what the British are thinking, since they have a big stake in what is going on now. There military was set up and sent over to support a guy who lied about why we were going to Iraq, and then proof starts to come out that he's been a liar for a long time. That he didn't have the balls to serve out his time in a cushy spot in the TANG that Poopy got him.

The office of the President of the United States has been diminished horribly by this man. At one time is was respected world wide. Now it's held by a man that most of the planet openly admits that it hates. This is not good, for American, for our government, for anybody.

3. Hidden? He gave a 9/11 speech on TV this a.m.
And earlier, he and Laura were praying to music to honor 9/11. Big ceremonies going on to celebrate what another poster calls a Repub holiday.

He's not going to be giving press conferences on any other subject today because of 9/11. (But he doesn't give press confs. often, anyway.)

He'll probably be back on the campaign trail tomorrow, after church.

4. I should add, though, that I noticed that for the last 2 days he's looked
more worried than usual.

8. Bush has friends at FOX and "other" places that he thinks...
can take care of this little problem. It'll just take a couple of days. In the meantime, his surrogates will launch a vicious counter attack to any and all charges.
