Kerry should go to Iraq
Not to serve turkeys in scripted photo-op sessions with hand-picked audiences, but to get out with the grunts, hear what they have to say, and see for himself what conditions are like. It would be a great way to differentiate himself from Bush. It would project strength, courage and compassion.

He would have a comfort level "in the trenches" with the soldiers that GWB could never pull off. MKJ

BTW, I'm still convinced GWB went to Iraq to get there before Hillary. She was one day away, and not "hiding" her trips to Afghanistan and Iraq.

8. Maybe not Iraq but he should attend a funeral or two.
Bush*has not attended a single funeral for any GI killed in his war on terra. I think it would show something if Kerry were to do so a few times.
