Have you forgotten that this is the man who defeated Hillary and Bill Clinton to win the Democratic Nomination for President?

Do you refuse to consider the fact that this is the man who chose Joe Biden as his VP when everybody was shouting "HILLARY, HILLARY, HILLARY"?

Are you clueless to the fact that this is the man who ran one of the most FLAWLESS PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGNS IN HISTORY?

Have you stopped for a second to consider that President-Elect Obama has access to a great deal more information than you do before he makes a decision about anything?

He knows what you don't.

So either you know enough to second-guess his decisions, (in which case, why the fuck are you posting here on DU and not working for some highly-publicized political think tank)?

Or you don't, in which case you're likely a fool and should probably STFU before you say something really stupid.

Whichever is a more accurate description of "thou who art casting thy doubts upon the judgment of our next President", I just wanted to provide a bit of perspective on the relevance of your opinion.

Obama will never be as liberal as I'd like him to be. But I figure I can take a breather from hyper vigilance for a month. I owe that to myself. Watching things unfold in Camp Obama has been enjoyable.

I don't claim to know all of Obama's strategies. Maybe he's playing a game, hoping for a win down the road. Maybe he's decided this one just isn't that vital, so he's conceding a loss and moving on.

What I do know is this: the attitude that Obama, or anyone, is omniscient and we should all STFU is dangerously toxic. It's the sort of mindset that enables pondscum like Bush.

12. It is a good thing my opinion does not matter to the politicians who run the party.

They obviously are smarter and wiser and more experienced in running the country than I am.

But I know that they will do the right thing for all Americans. And I will agree with all those decisions because they are better human beings than I. How else have they come to such well-deserved positions of power?

With the brilliant campaign that Obama ran, I just know he will be able to do everything he wants by bringing the DLC and the GOP together. Who needs liberals anyway? All they do is whine about equal rights and peace and jobs - things that I do not have to worry about our new President wasting his time on.

There is no use in any of us peons bothering to pay attention anymore. Our money and votes were all the party ever wanted or needed. Now we can get lost until the next election.

Liberals are to the Dem party as religious whackjobs are to the pukes. The party will never do anything to push a progressive piece of legislation, forget an entire agenda. They just ramp up the rhetoric at election time to extort our dollars and effort. Then, it's shut up and go away - we know better than you.
