Former Classmate Finds Obama's Poems

A local baker in Greenboro, North Carolina stumbled upon some papers Barack Obama wrote in a creative writing class they took together in college.

Bill Snyder believes one of the writings is a poem about Obama's father.

Snyder says Obama was a laid-back guy who wasn't afraid to chug a beer or write poems.

Not so long ago, Snyder made a sweet discovery in the process of moving. He saved all his paper from his creative writing class--including a poem the President-elect wrote titled "Pop". Snyder believes it's a poem about Obama's father.

Snyder knows he could sell these lost writings for tons of money but he's not looking to cash in. He would like to get them back into the hands of our next President.

I seem to remember a story about this from early summer. Someone showed Obama the poem, which he didn't remember writing, but liked.
