What are people here smoking? Palin is an anchor tied around the Republican Party!
For every second that she's getting exposure, the base continues to pull the party in the opposite direction of the voting public. She fucked up McCain's campaign. We had racists voting for Obama because of this lady. I think the number was 30% of the people who considered race to be an issue voted for Obama (from Maddow on MSNBC's election day coverage--back me up here if anyone else heard it). I know it's all in the wording, folks, but the people who consider race an issue...maybe 99% of the time...are racist. Her negatives have only gone down. She is the opposite of King Midas. Everything she touches goes to shit. Can we please, for the sake of all that's holy in this world, let the PTA Dictator destroy her own party?

OR...

Maybe this was an Alaskan Independence Party plot all along! Let Strangelove in a Skirt get close enough to slit the throat of the Republican party! Ensure single-party rule! I love our party as much as anyone, but citizens in a democracy would reject single-party rule regardless of who was in charge. States will secede left and right, going to war with one another...and Alaska would be safe! BY GAWD Sarah Palin could destroy the United States (sans Alaska)!

But for real--let's shine a bright light on Sarah Palin...a very, very bright light...a light bright enough to reveal every blemish, every scandal, every scar (she didn't release her medical records)--either she's lying about maternity, she's had a face lift or boob job (my bet), or she's more likely to punch out than Granpappy McCain). Let's spend the next four years watching each and every move Golly Geewhiz makes as though she actually matters. Let's fucking triple-dog-dare those pasty-ass motherfuckers to try putting that future fucking Hollywood Square in the highest office of our land! Let's allow her to pick up the nation, turn it all the way to the left, and shake it until everyone is on our side!

Can I get an amen?

1. She's even funnier
when you smoke some.

I particularly remember her address at the Repug Conventicle, where I'd started toasting her with a bowl of Alaskan-grown, and ended up falling off the couch, laughing so hard I was crying.

16. 60% is a perfect portion ... enough to get their way ... and cause 40% to run screaming.
She's like a chainsaw used on the GOP "base" groups.

15. She is very much like Bush; true Christians love her
I saw a bumper sticker the other day that had a McCain/Palin sticker cut up to read "McPalin Can". The car had loads of Christian stickers too.

Hordes of Evangelical Mega-Christians think she is the best thing to happen to the Republican party since Regan (who was no rocket scientist). They loved that idiot Regan, who said stupid and dangerous things every time he opened his mouth while not on the teleprompter; they loved Bush and his brush cutting, beer drinking, regular guy act; and they love Palin and her regular hockey mom act.

They blame McCain for the shopping spree - they believe her when she said it's not her idea! And she has FAITH IN THE LORD. And that matters more than ANYTHING.

18. First I have to say--"true Christians" do NOT love Sarah Palin.
She's the queen of pseudo-christians.
That being said, the more moderates are exposed to Churchy-Spice and her fawning flock of followers, the more horrified they are to realize just what they've been in bed with lo these many years.
