I heard he might possibly appoint a cabinet member that is not quite as liberal as I would prefer on an issue I did not care about two days ago. Clearly this proves that he is not listening to his mandate to govern as if half the country didn't exist. I find this completely unacceptable, and if he doesn't start shaping up soon, then I resolve to post non-stop for fucking months about how upset I am. You heard me. Months. I'm gonna obsess like a 13-year-old who just discovered Led Zep. I'm gonna fixate like a cat watching a faucet. I resolve to whine like motherfucking Napa Valley unless Obama reads this post and personally apologizes to me for supposedly considering this person. Admittedly, I have been so focused on coming up with colorful similes, I have forgotten this person's name by this point, so I'd really like Obama to remind me of that in his apology.

Anyway, that's all beside the point. The point is that our democracy is in peril, and that Obama is on the verge of making an enormous mistake in potentially considering appointing I have not heard of, but whom a blog I am unfamiliar with assures me is the second coming of Dick Cheney. If he doesn't shape up and soundly reject my panicked hypotheticals, I'm afraid that I'm going to have to withdraw my support of his administration. After all, a White House that does anything I disagree with is a White House that is fully under the control of our evil corporatist overlords, and is completely unworthy of my support. And I don't think I need to remind anyone here that without my expert advice, his White House will collapse in ruin. What does Obama know about politics, anyway? I bet I've read twice the number of Daily Kos posts he has.

Obama, this is your last chance. Shape up or ship out. My vote put you in the white house, and if I revoke it, you'll be back on the street, like the no-good centrist DLC bum you are.

According to the standards set by Bush and his supporters, it is pretty clear Obama will have it pretty easy. For clearly the President isn't responsible for the Security of the US for the 1st year in office. Its also pretty clear that the President isn't responsible for the economy for the 1st 3 years of his Presidency. He can just blame it all on Bush, the way Bush blamed it all on Clinton.
