a nice cute baby turtle.

I don't think there's ever been a turtle in the White House before. THAT'S change we can believe in!

5. Then there could be 'pet Salmonella bacteria' in the White House.
I don't think a President has ever had Salmonella bacteria as a pet.

4. Hey, I Like Turtles As Much As Next Guy, But...
They don't fetch sticks worth a damn! And nothing beats a warm furry puppy or kitty to pet, turtles, not so much.

17. I'd love to have MY own turtle :)

They wouldn't get to take it out for walks though.. it wouldn't provide all the photo-ops that a puppy will.

21. Sure they could take it for walks, very short walks that would
take a very long time. They could do photo ops for portrait photographers with view cameras, or maybe artists who paint in oils, or perhaps sculptors. Think of the new possibilities!!
