To all GLBT DUers...
Hang in there, my friends. The day WILL come when all people will have 100% equal status. IT WILL COME.

As Ms. Etheridge said;

"Gay people are born everyday. You will never legislate that away."

A good heart is all that matters.

I HEART GLBT DUers!

I'm guessing, but I bet I'm close. I'm with you LynTheDem. I love 'em all, every color, every persuasion, every temperament, even. LOVE IS THE ANSWER. It doesn't matter what the question is.

9. Thanks, I will! I brag about my good friend "Carlotta Gurl",
(does an amazing Marilyn Munroe) and the majority of my friends & colleagues are some or all part of GLBT.

And ya know what??? They're like real live regular people!!! :wow:

Yep, I still just don't get how someone's personal sexual preferance (consenting adults) means diddly.

10. I know I shock people when they find out I'm a lesbian
and then I do that whole walking, talking and breathing thing. You should see the reactions I get! ;)

11. Actually I have to admit, living as I now do in Vancouver, the last time anyone was shocked
here was in 2004, when George W. bUsh was elected.

The previous shock was in 2000.

Vancouverites don't get shocked by anything GLBT, lol!

I have to brag on the hubby; all our GLBT pals are always telling me how in awe they are of him, coz he's so relaxed and comfortable around them, which makes them feel relaxed and comfortable.

Wow what an amazing concept, huh! WAKE UP, WORLD.

8. Yes, it is wonderful to hear those,
Edited on Sat Nov-08-08 12:48 AM by Maat
but we cheer right back - honoring the GLBT community!

I always want to cry when a parade-watcher says, "Will you be my mom?" I'd love to be the mother of these wonderful children, and do not understand why some have been rejected by their own families.

We're very dedicated supporters of the LGBT community.

14. THIS IS A GOOD THING FOR THE COUNTRY!!!
Soon this will go to the Supreme Court
they can't vote against this
the words of the constitutions gives us the Right to Pursue Happiness

Well not allowing two people who wish to be married the right to marry. Is a violation of their Pursuit.

Once the Supreme Courts get a viable case
a Mildred Loving type Case.

I believe Ellen and her spouse would be a great couple to lead the charge for a Supreme court Case

15. im gonna agree and k & rec
i cannot for the life of me figure out why it should make a difference who is doing what to who(m?)
unless they are doing it to me or vice versa
as for marriage...i dont reccommend it to anyone gay or straight:sarcasm:
that said it has worked well for me and mine for 31 years
i think we will see a change in attitude in america
it may actually become "hip" to not be a douchebag
