WASHINGTON - NOVEMBER 6: People write congratulatory messages to President-elect Barack Obama on a 24-foot long message board in front of the Lincoln Memorial November 6, 2008 in Washington, DC. The organization Avaaz. org has set up a global message board at the memorial with display of messages from all around the world for people to write their notes to Obama.

5. Avaaz isn't just 'an environmental group', and I urge you all to check them out. I signed up a year
or two ago - www.avaaz.org - and they require no dues/contributions, DON'T bother you often, but get people around the world to send emails once in a while on big & important issues - social, environmental, I forget what all, but again, check them out.
