Once again, the Anchorage Daily News gets the juicy details...
Anonymous attacks, claims follow Palin home

Palin was at home in Wasilla on Thursday and not giving interviews, while an aide sorted through luggage to identify campaign clothes purchased by the Republican National Committee. The high-end clothing, which Palin intends to return so it can be donated to charity, became a controversy that is still following her.

...snip...

"Instead of just letting her be who she wanted to be they still felt this need to control. ...There were a few times where she actually did sneak in phone calls and was reprimanded for picking up the phone and placing a few calls on her own," Stapleton said.

...snip...

Stapleton said Palin called the staff of Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly. But the campaign got wind of it and told her O'Reilly had canceled the interview, which wasn't true.

...snip...

"It's really amazing, I think it's unprecedented in terms of presidential politics to have this level of vindictiveness and pettiness. It's like these people fell out of favor with a middle school 14-year-old girls' clique. It's really unbelievable," Scheunemann said.

...snip...

Stapleton said another question is what's going to happen with the "boxes and boxes and boxes" of gifts either given to Palin or a family member on the campaign trail, or shipped to her in Alaska. She said the gifts have to be valued to see what Palin is allowed to keep, and what she has to disclose.

1. Palin was sneaking away to call Bill O'Reilly?

Wow, she really was going rogue. Unbelievable.

Remember all of those stories we've heard about Palin "rooting out corruption"?
She's horrendosly corrupt herself, but she'll "take on her own party" and "root
out corruption" if it means that she can ruin the person who has something that
she wants.

My guess is that she doesn't like it when she's in not in full control, and she's
faced with the fact that someone else is more powerful than her. She attempts to
destroy them and try to make power plays that give her the upper hand--when she
senses that she's not the top dog.

She is a destructive, whirlwind who has no sense of integrity or morals. She
uses her pretty face and charms to avoid accountability for her reckless behavior.

I remember reading that Wasilla city council members met her in an aerobics class and
liked her. They leveraged her and encouraged her to run for city council. Palin
was elected to city council and then went on to disparage and play dirty tricks on
the very people who pulled her from aerobics-class obscurity. She's done this all
the way up the ladder, and it appears she did it to McCain--a would-be President.

She's got very serious psychological issues.

2. What I don't get is she said herself "the clothes don't belong to me"
so why in the hell did she put them in a suitcase and fly them all the way back to Alaska??
