Cutting Off The Republican Escape Route

Yes, I hate to open up with a quote from Powell, but it fits the situation perfectly I think we all should be reminded that there are a couple of things that are the equivilent of political laser guided bombs that will essentially cut off the Republicans' escape route to safety.

What exactly is their escape route? It's to say that they are the only ones who can be trusted to wage the War on Terror correctly and keep America safe.

What's the MOAB that cuts them off at the knees on this issue? Why it's the Plame indictments of course. Showing that they dicked around with national security resources and assets will sink the Republicans in about 1/10th the time of the Titanic and simultaneously destroy the myth of Republican strength.

At the same time, we'll finish them off with a barrage of attacks on the domestic issues that they fare so miserably on, while simultaneously targeting the Bush administration's credibility gap with precision attacks (the deficit, AWOL, Iraq).

In addition, the other minefield for Congressional Republicans is being laid by Ronnie Earle in Texas. We should be able to link a Senior Member of their congressional leadership (DeLay) and be able to discredit the Republican congress' as being worse than we were back in the Rosty days.
