2. That guy should never have gone to pet him with the hand/fingers outstretched
Anyone with an ounce of sense knows that you curl your fingers back and let a dog come to you for that all important sniff.

Free Barney!!!

5. IMO, one should NEVER loom over a dog one is NOT familiar with...
...and put one's hand toward the dog like he did.

What the hell did he expect? :eyes:

4. I have it from the same reliable source....
...a certain Scottish Terrier named Maggie who lives with me, that the asshole Bush tried to force Barney to register Republican and vote for McCain and Palin.

A clear-cut case of Scottie abuse!

7. Are Scotties "one person" dogs
I understand that they're very loyal. We had a German Shepherd who was a great dog. If I wasn't around, my hubby hung the moon for her. But the minute I showed up, he was persona non grata. Oy!

8. Not really....
...they are very protective of the "family" or those they have spent a lot of time around.

My dog adores me...but when her "Uncle Human" shows with hamburgers, she is not quite sure who I am!

:hi:

10. Thanks!
She sounds like she has her priorities in the right order!

Sorry about the late response. I realized I was missing something needed for supper. So I ran out quick to pick it up. You just can't serve Italian sausages and peppers on frankfurter buns!

14. I know a wonderful mutt named Cracker Jack who has bitten two people
Edited on Thu Nov-06-08 09:15 PM by Jed Dilligan
since I've known him. Each time, without knowing the circumstances, I said, "Well, he was right." The circumstances have proven my statement true each time. People were behaving either stupidly or abusively around him when he made his small "corrections."
