Robert Rubin Says He Won't Be Joining the Obama Administration
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aNqmwWOTRzJA

Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin said he will not be joining the administration of President-elect Barack Obama.

Rubin, who served as Secretary of the Treasury from 1995 to 1999 under President Bill Clinton, has been mentioned as a possible candidate for several jobs in Obama's cabinet, including his former position.

Obama is ``terrific,'' Rubin said in an interview. ``But I've spoken with him and told him I'm not interested in going back into government.''

Rubin, who advised Obama on economic issues during the presidential campaign, said he told the president-elect he would consider taking on special projects.

4. Considering his ties to Citigroup, it's a good thing he won't be part of the Obama admin.
He is part of the problem, not the solution.
