If President Obama wants Republicans in his cabinet--how about Linc Chafee?
who endorsed him and was more liberal than some democrats on many issues.

Well Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe are ok for Repukes I suppose...better than frikking Lieberman at any rate.

Lincoln is awesome. If Repukkes were all like him, we could really move our country forward. I wish Chaffee's wing would take over the Repukke party, which would be great...it would probably move the Dems a bit further to the left and would marginalize the far right as the fascists they are.

Trouble is, the people who ARE like Chaffee are now Democrats.

As republicans go he was pretty decent. But since I'm not from RI I have no idea about Chafee as far as views are concerned. I think this would be a great bi-partisan move...the only one we need in fact.

14. Chafee was absoulutly SPINELESS in commitee blocks of Bolton and other Bush Nominees.
He could have blocked the last two Supremes and didn't.
