Bush AWOL investigation conducted wrong....
This is from my repub hub:
The reason why no one comes forward to agree or disagree on bush's absence from the military is that many other people who are presently in government will also be outed. They are all keeping each other's secret, and they will be both republicans and democrats.

It is known that the Guard was a heaven for rich kids with powerful political parents, like bush, to hide and stay away from serving in the Vietnam war. The problem is that the investigation is only about bush. Who were the other rich kids hiding along with bush? If they can find some of those rich kids, they will get to the bottom of how bush went AWOL

1. I think Dan Quayle actually showed up
I don't think this is generally true. Bush is a unique shirker.

2. Most of the rich kids at least showed up
Bush didn't. That's the story.

4. Yes, even the privilege of jumping the line for the ANG wasn't enough
for Bush. He was too priviliged for that privileged group, too. The nation asked little of Bush, and got even less than that. What a dick.

11. Perfectly said!
Short, direct, to the point. "The nation asked little of Bush, and got even less than that." Brilliant!

7. My brother also transfered to MA

while in the Air Guard to attend Harvard Business School, but unlike our fearless leader, actually managed to go to meetings there. He was able to accomplish this feat because unlike fearless leader, he arrived at Harvard with a summa cum laude rather than a gentleman's C.

3. Same reason why his coke buddies don't surface
Ironic, isn't it, that the person who didn't have life of illegalities is the one with a "record" to attack? Bush thinks he's the perfect candidate, someone actually born (again) yesterday.

8. Kerry was rich and volunteered.
I guess it has more to do with morals than money.

even partisan concerns.

I however doubt very much that in congress and government there are more than a handful who LIED, COMMITTED FRAUD, TWISTED ARMS, OR PULLED STRINGS to get into or out of the Guard. I'll bet most of em are just average law abiding chickens like Quayle.

Let's haul them all out, Dem or Pukkke, and give them all the same treatment as Shrub--kick em out of office and make em repay the salary they accepted fraudulently, if any.

10. The problem isn't that he "had strings" pulled for him
The probelm is that he refuses to admit it although it is apparent to everyone. The bigger problem is that they did the rich kid a favor - and he blew off his end of the bargain.
