I was out at electoral-votes.com earlier today
and saw an ad to contribute to the McCain/Palin 'compliance fund'

I suspect they are planning to contest the outcome if they lose.

Are we looking at 2000 all over again?

anyone?.....thoughts?

1. I asked about that before
apparently its just some term to get around donation rules - ask people to donate to the fund that monitors their own legality rather than campaign activities. Kerry did same thing in 04, I was told.

2. I don't know that it makes any difference but Kerry's fund was specifically
called a 'legal fund' and it was to prevent 2000 rerun. they claimed that Gore didn't have the money available to use on legal activities. I remember this because I contributed to that fund and was seriously pissed when he just caved.
