What is Your Electoral and Popular Vote Prediction?
Right now, I see it at Obama 341, McCain 197. Ive recently soured on North Carolina. I think it will be close there, but wouldnt be surprised if undecided voters ultimately went for McCain, giving him a 1 point victory there. I think Missouri is going to come down to the wire but I give McCain a small edge there at this moment. Indiana is another state that will be close I think. If it is close, we will know that Obama has won on election day. If he takes an early lead, it could be a blowout. I also am feeling confident about North Dakota at this moment, more so then Montana. I think Obama will pull out a win there.

In the Popular Vote, I think Obama wins this thing 51.8 - 45.1

8. I think a lot of the undecided will break for McCain
But lot will stay home, too. There will be better turn out fro Repubs than expected, softening but not canceling the effect of an increased Democratic turn out. We'll lose Ohio, Pennsylvania, and/or Florida, but get Virginia, Colorado, and Nevada for the win. Obama wins nationally by a squeaker, and Nevada, Colorado, and Virginia are also won by razor-thin margins.

Or I might jsut be a pessimistic brainstormer...

15. I hope so, but historical trends don't include
the fact that, if Obama wins, "The Blacks Will Take Over" (cue scary music).

I have to believe that race is still a significant (if largely unspoken) factor in this race. And with the difference between the two candidates being so incredibly pronounced, and one team obviously more qualified than the other, I assume that the reason Barack's not up by 20 points nationwide is race. And Faux News, of course. I think, "I'm just not sure who Barack Obama really is..." is code for "I just don't know about voting for a black person."

But, like I said earlier, I may just be pessimistic and paranoid.

10. six point spread in popular vote; EC will be 336 to 202
I think Indiana and Missouri go for Obama, but Florida he loses. Bush beat the polling in 2004 in Florida by 8 points.

Maybe I'm too optimistic about NC and MO, but Im going to stick with it. And I will not be disappointed, if it ends up closer.
