"Is Obama on his heels as Senator McCain levels these charges of Socialism against him"

"How much of an impact is Joe the Plummer having on people who think that Obama is an elitist?"

1. I'm more disappointed in Maddow.
I've always thought Gregory is a tool. No surprised there.

13. Good grief...
:eyes:

Anyway, I was just listening to Maddow on Air America. The two things that stood out about Obama to her (she interviewed him today) was that he doesn't hate Republicans but instead thinks that part of the Republican Party "kidnapped" the good parts of the Republican Party. Also, she went on at length about how handsome and youthful he is.

22. I wish that more people at DU would take a cue from Obama.
Hate is a destructive emotion, no matter whom it's aimed at.

17. She wears her worried heart on her sleeve
I think it's making Obama supporters work all the harder for the win.

Rachel is on our side and one of the best.

25. i don't have a problem with maddow. i think she is a pragmatist
and may be more like me... i will worry until obama is pronounced the winner. period. it doesn't do anyone any good to just be a cheerleader. it is in everyone's best interest to keep things in perspective. mccain MIGHT win florida. he has a chance to win it. it's a fact. will winning florida win him the election. NO. but it all comes down to turnout. if we all turnout.... i think obama will win. whether florida goes for obama or mccain. i prefer maddow to be honest about what she thinks. she didn't get where she is today by being a cheerleader. you can't like someone when they say what you like and dislike them because they say something you may not like. there. i'm done now.

30. she's not a pragmatist, she's a pessimist.
And a buzzkill.

She should get out of the predictions business. I've noticed her predictions are usually way off.

3. He was so irritable
last night with Bill Richardson and was hammering away at Obama, but whenever Nicole Wallace is on, he is all sweetness and light. I can't stand to watch him anymore, as he is soooo obviously biased.

For one thing as soon as Buchanan's voice comes on it's like I've just turned the volume on my TV up to 11.

6. He and Pat Buchanon are pimping the Mason Dixon poll (47-43) like it was golden.
Forget that every over PA poll, has Obama up in double digits.

Pat, again, with his "Why can't he close the deal and get above 50%?" line...

Gregory knows which way the wind is blowing.

He's being told to "ham it up".

and usually a portion of Rachel.

I don't bother with Race To The White House.

What will msnbc air in Gregory's slot once the race for the White House is over? Airing the test patten for 60 minutes would be preferable to Gregory. :puke:

20. He's such an POS he pulled a Charlie Gibson ...
But instead of raising "capital gains" taxes Gregory is now aghast that Obama would DARE follow through on rolling back Bush's tax cuts for the Wealthy (Greater than $250,000 income). Damn! Gregory wasn't even discreet at his distaste for his BLESSED taxes to be raised at all. What a dick!

21. I can't understand why some people don't want to watch commentators that they disagree with.
Yes, Gregory is a POS, but I like to watch him for a few laughs now and then. And I am secure enough in my own convictions that I don't worry that hearing some contrary opinions is going to cause me to stop being a Democrat and an Obama supporter.

27. i can watch people i may not agree with, as long as they are respectful and
don't talk over the guests.... and have a brain in their head. some of these commentators can be respectful and make a cohesive argument. and listen to what others have to say. and some don't.
